Greeting Card

The card before folding. Took in suggestions to remove the white border from the picture, as the effect of the card showing a framed memory doesn't seem to carry across nicely, and is distracting to the appreication of colours, which is the purpose of this exercise. The photo will be printed on glossy photo paper instead of matte, which was used for the prototype. Seems a glossy paper would bring out the colours better.

Poem written inside the card, printed on matte photo paper,

The card seen as it should be.

gotta say man! the blue thing is not working out! i dont know anyone who would be buying a blue card. one thing though, if it does sell? it'll be the outstanding one in a shelve of white based cards!

well my only defence is that mr reddy encouraged us to deviate from the convention. so i chose blue instead of the passionate pink and red shades.

this appeals to those who have been in relationships way past the i-can't-live-without-you stage. this card will be bought by those old souls who want just a reminder of how one can find inner peace with the significant other when they reach this stage in a relationship. that's why it's my dear dear grandparents who front this. it's the grow old with you feeling.

my jc teacher shared this feeling with me. and for a brief moment in my life, i think i felt it too.
